The #1 Fitness Tool for Women's Fat Loss

Published: Wed, 07/30/14

Hi,

Let's just get something straight: when it comes to losing fat, there is no one "right" way to do it. But that doesn't mean there isn't a best way.

Sure, you can use a myriad of equipment--barbells, dumbbells, resistance bands, or even your own bodyweight--to exercise, and they all have their respective merits. They're all good. They all get the job done.

But when it comes to training specifically for fat loss, there's one tool that pretty much trumps them all: the kettlebell.

Now, I'm not one of those cult-y kettlebell trainers who think KBs are the "ONLY" tool in the toolbox, and I don't walk around calling anyone comrade. I just recognize the facts.

And the fact is, kettlebells are NUMBER ONE on the list of things I recommend for women looking to lose fat. Every. Single. Time.

WHY? What's so special about kettlebells?

Great question! When I say kettlebells are the BEST tool for helping women training for fat loss, its because they rate SUPER highly in every single "category" I use to judge these things:

CONVENIENCE - This is one of my favorite things about kettlebells, and one of the main reasons I recommend them to busy women: you don't even have to leave the house. I mean, you can get a set of kettlebells and leave them in the corner of your living room, and have them right there whenever you want to get a great workout. Try doing that with a barbell!

VERSATILITY - KBs really shine in terms of adaptability, both as a tool, and with regard to the workouts you can do with them. Unlike dumbbells, which require you to have a full set in order to train effectively, you can get an amazing full body workout with just ONE kettlebell.

EFFICIENCY - Whether you string exercises together in a circuit, a chain, or a complex, when you train with kettlebells, you are constantly moving, with no need to take breaks to change equipment. This makes your workouts incredibly fast, AND increases fat burning.

OVERALL EFFECTIVENESS - Kettlebells force you to work "differently" than other equipment: every single exercise is a metabolic exercise; every single exercise is also a full body exercise. That results in MASSIVE metabolic elevation, extreme caloric expenditure, and--you guessed it--fat burning in overdrive.

Those are just the very basic reasons; a broad overview, if you will. I really want to help you understand this, so let's go a bit deeper.

Keep in mind that I work with a LOT of women on this stuff. As a coach, more than half of my clients have been amazing, talented women who want to get fit, or take their fitness to the next level.

These women are always looking for the best way to train for fat loss, and they're looking to do it in a way that saves time and money. Because just like you, they have jobs, or families, or active social lives--usually all three.

My clients deserve amazing results, regardless of whatever challenges get in the way. And so, time after time, client after client, I keep recommending kettlebell training.

Here are some fully fleshed out reasons...

5 Reasons Kettlebells Are My Number ONE

Tool For Female Fat Loss

1) Incredible Convenience & Versatility

It's crazy that there are still so many misconceptions about how long you need to workout to get results. I'm here to put those to rest. You DO NOT need to spend a ton of time to get a ton of results.

Hopefully you know by now that rather than spend hours in the gym, it's possible to get an awesome, fat-blasting, full body workout in less time than it takes to actually drive to the gym. And with kettlebells, that's even easier, because kettlebells engage the entire body in a unique way, lack of time is no longer a relevant issue. A great KB workout can take little as 10-20 minutes. Seriously!

It's pretty incredible what you can do with just one kettlebell (as you'll see in the attached beginner workout). All you need is just one moderately sized kettlebell in order to achieve an effective, total body, fat-burning workout.

This makes kettlebells especially appealing to my clients who are busy moms and career women--you can transport your kettlebell wherever you need it to go. I've taken kettlebells on road trips, to the beach, to the park, and even to my friend's homes for buddy workouts (just make sure to buckle them in with seatbelts!).

Plus, they're so easy to keep at home and store out of sight when not in use. This kind of versatility makes it more likely that you'll stay consistent as well, considering that you may not always have access to a gym. And since a LOT of my clients like to do fast, convenient workouts right at home, that's a huge benefit!

Which sort of brings me to my next point.

2) Low Cost

A lot of people overlook this, but it's a practical matter and worth discussing.

The bottom line is, if you're looking for equipment to use in your home, you simply cannot beat kettlebells when it comes to bang for your buck. They cost roughly the same as dumbbells, but you DO NOT need a "full set."

With just ONE kettlebell, you get an amazing full body metabolic workout, anywhere are all. Add another one of a different weight and the number of exercises you can do (or the way you can do them) triples instantly. And if it wasn't obvious, the total cost will be MUCH less than you'd be for your gym membership over the course of a year!

And if you do like training in a gym environment, finding a gym that has kettlebells is the easiest thing in the world: most gyms these days are fully stocked with KBs (because they're awesome).

3) Instant Full Body Workouts

Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you've heard the term "metabolic resistance training." This is just what it sounds like--metabolic, fat burning workouts that use some type of weight. You've probably also heard that (according to nearly a dozen studies), MRT is THE most effective fat loss training methodology.

Well, with kettlebells, MRT goes to the next level, because just about anything you can do with one qualifies. Kettlebell movements are dynamic and multi-joint, allowing for total recruitment of the body.

I spoke to my friend, Neghar Fonooni (RKC II, author of the Lean & Lovely training system, and one of the top female kettlebell experts in theworld), and asked her how that's distinctive to KBs. Here's what she said:

"What's especially unique to the kettlebell is its handle, which creates an offset center of gravity. This makes it ideal for dynamic movements like swings and snatches, and causes your stabilizing muscles to have to work over time, particularly in exercises like presses and Turkish Get Ups."

So, as you can see, unlike so many workouts that have you training one body part at a time, nearly every kettlebell movement engages your entire body at once.

Take an exercise like the kettlebell swing, for example: With just one move you're working your glutes, quads, abs, lats, and shoulders, all while burning fat and revving your metabolism. Kettlebell training combines stability, flexibility, strength, and cardio, allowing you to simultaneously build muscle and burn body fat. Not bad, huh?

4) Time Saving Awesomeness

Building on the above point, let's talk about how just how efficient this is. Being able to work your entire body with a handful of exercises is a huge benefit, and obviously saves a ton of time--which is why it's so effective for all of my busy female clients.

Remember that versatility I mentioned earlier? Well, here's where it comes into play. Let's look at that works...

You start off with overhead presses, move right into a goblet squat, and finish off with some those super-metabolic KB swings. It's MUCH less effective to do that with dumbbells.

Because you can get so much out of each KB exercise, and because you can transition so seamlessly from one to another, there is built in efficiency when training with kettlebells.

That allows you to get same benefits with fewer exercises and in less time than with more traditional workouts. And, in most cases, BETTER results.

And that is what we call a Triple Threat!

5) Automatically Geared Towards Women's "Trouble Spots"

This is an interesting one, and my personal favorite, which is why I've saved it for last. Very simply put, training with kettlebells helps you work on a lot of the "trouble spots" that so many of my female clients struggle with.

Now, that doesn't mean kettlebells are going to magically create "spot reduction." That's not possible.

It's simply that the way you train with kettlebells means that you're getting a lot of work for your hips, hamstrings, butt, and upper back. And doing that--as long as you do it the right way--will develop those areas and make them look shapely and sexy, rather than soft.

Earlier, I mentioned the kettlebell swing, which is probably the most common of all KB exercises. For good reason: it's one of the most effective. Not only is it highly metabolic, it's also one of the BEST ways to train the glutes and hamstrings--leading to a high, round, shapely butt sitting on top of firm, tight legs.

And that's just ONE exercise.

Upper body KB exercises like the snatch, press, and row are fantastic because they require you to engage so many muscles at once to stabilize. Again, this is due to the wacky shape of the kettlebell itself.

When you perform these exercises your shoulders, back, and arms are constantly working without overworking; and developing without overdeveloping.

As an example, here's a picture of my friend Neghar (the kettlebell expert I mentioned earlier), that shows how great her back looks, in part because of her kettlebell training.

Kettlebells and YOU

After all that, I have to believe you can see why I love kettlebells so much, especially when it comes to women's fat loss training. Really, there NO other tool that offers so much at once.

Like I said, kettlebells are all about bang for your buck: the best results with the least equipment, the least time, and the least amount of money.

But that ONLY happens if you're using kettlebells the right way. As awesome as they are, they're not magic! Ya can't just pick up a kettlebell, start swingin' it around, and expect to see results.

Instead, you need to use them with proper form, and in combination with a great training program; one written by a coach who really knows what they're doing.

Even better, you want to use a kettlebell program specifically designed for women to lose fat, build strength, and improve their overall fitness.

And today, I want to give you EXACTLY that.

Twice now I've mentioned my friend Neghar Fonooni. Like I said before, she is one of the top experts IN THE WORLD when it comes to using kettlebells for women's fitness. She's trained pro athletes, been published in a dozen magazines and been featured as an expert in all sorts of industry media.

More importantly, over her 13+ years in the industry, Neghar has helped thousands of every day women lose fat and reveal amazing bodies, all while cultivating a positive, healthy mindset.

As a busy mom and a busy entrepreneur, Neghar understands the unique challenges that women face, because she's been there. She also understands the specific physiological and hormonal considerations that come along with getting women into shape.

So when I tell you Neghar is one of my top sources when it comes to female fat loss, you can see why. And when it comes to using kettlebells for female fat loss, she is number ONE, no contest.

All of which makes me super excited to tell you about Neghar's brand new program, Lean & Lovely. As you might expect, it is a complete body transformation system and fat loss program, specifically for women, and featuring those awesome kettlebells we talked about as the primary tool.

Lean & Lovely is so much different than any other fat loss system I've come across, and that's one of the many things that makes it so amazing.

In addition to the 12 weeks of awesome workouts, the video demonstrations of proper form, the bonus workouts you can do anywhere, and the top-notch nutrition info, L&L also touches on the mindset aspect of fitness. And this is something most programs avoid.

With Lean & Lovely, you're not just getting a training program. You're learning how to train for YOUR body. You're not just getting a "diet" - you're learning to lose fat without dieting.

And that makes L&L worth talking about, even if it wasn't written by one of the top coaches in the world.

But, lucky for you, it was, so you can be SURE the workouts are going to help you blast fat in NO time

PLUS, you're going to make consistent progress--no more back and forth nonsense. The design of Lean & Lovely sees to that: it's broken up into 3 awesome phases, with each one building on the one that came before. That way, you're moving unfailingly towards your goals, and NEVER plateauing.

Let me tell you right now that A LOT of programs cross my desk each month, and I have never seen anything quite like this. I know it's going to change a lot of bodies and lives, and I want to help make that happen.

So does Neghar.

Which is why she's offering Lean & Lovely for a HUGE, 50% discount to celebrate its release.

That's right: for this week (and this week ONLY), Neghar's brand new, amazingly effective, incredibly unique L&L body transformation system is on sale for HALF PRICE.

Obviously, I think very highly of Lean & Lovely, and Neghar herself. And as you already know, I love kettlebells.

Which is why I think this is an absolute NO brainer: you're getting a whole training program using the ONE tool I constantly recommend for women's fat loss, written by one of the TOP coaches in the world...

...and you're getting it for less than 50% off.

I can't think of a better "perfect storm" of conditions for you! This is literally everything you've been waiting for, and I'm just happy I get to be the one to tell you about it!

I really, really can't wait for you to pick up Lean & Lovely, because I am SO excited to read your email in a few weeks telling me how much it helped you.

But, I ALSO want to hear that you made the easy decision and picked it up during the special release sale and saved 50%! Because why wouldn't you!?

Exactly!

Now, I'm going to head into the living room and do some kettlebell swings--just a few quick sets right now, and then a full workout later.
