You want a six pack...who doesn't!
So, you read all about the top "tips" for getting ripped abs and you try to do the exercises and eat the diet suggested. Are you succeeding? Well, if you answered no to that question you are DEFINITELY in the majority. Why? Getting a true six pack is very challenging, but the challenges can be overcome.
Now, the first thing you might be told by other people feeling the challenges as much as you (in other words the other fitness modeling professionals or bodybuilding competitors) is that genetics play a role in the way your abs are building (or not building) muscle.
Is that true? Nope! It is more about what the people with six packs eat and what they do during the day. Let's first understand that the six pack muscles across the abdominal area are only viewable when there is very little fat between them and the dermis. This means that people with a low body fat content are the most likely to be able to develop those muscles to such a sharp and pronounced level.
The next thing to remember is that these folks are watching what they eat AND eating it during the appropriate time of day. For example, the people with great abs tend to be the people with good metabolisms that are not geared towards storing food as fat. This means that you would see that guy with the shredded abs or that lady with the totally ripped muscles across her belly, eating around five small meals each day - or more!
They would have plates that contained around fifty percent high quality carbs, thirty to thirty-five percent protein and around ten percent fat. They would also be drinking a lot of water, avoiding sugar and soda, and ensuring that their body was eliminating everything that it didn't need.
Of course, these people are also doing all of the best "ab" exercises in addition to getting the right amount of cardiovascular strengthening too. Remember that abs are large muscle groups, but it is only when you use combined movements that you generate the greatest calorie burning, toning, and fat burning. If you want to get really ripped abs for your fitness modeling, bodybuilding shows, or your next day at the beach, you can find a lot more success by following the suggested tips we have just provided above.
