New Workout Beats Cosmetic Surgery
Published: Tue, 12/11/12
Hi there,
Do some of your body parts need a "lift?"
Maybe some trouble areas could use some tightening up?
Muscles that used to be firm, are starting to sag?
(or, ahem, nothing ever WAS firm to begin with???)
You can fix that, you know... and without plastic surgery.
It's interesting that all throughout the fitness world today, you hear
experts claim that to solve these problems, "It's 80% diet!"
Well, that's not entirely true.
Yes, nutrition is at the top of the hierarchy, especially for fat loss.
BUT... Here's the catch...
No amount of dieting will ever actually build muscle and develop a
nice shape to your body.
ONLY TRAINING CAN DO THAT!
And that's why we have an epidemic of skinny fat people today.
There's not just an obesity epidemic, there's another epidemic,
of people who decided to do something about their excess fat, (good)
but tried to do it with just diet alone (not good).
What happened is they only became smaller versions of their old
selves. They dropped pounds on the scale, but they didn't reshape
or sculpt their bodies. In fact, many of the skinny fat folks look
good (thin) in clothes, but they still don't look good out of clothes
because they didn't do any resistance training for physique development.
So... they still don't feel happy with how they look in a swimsuit
at the pool or on the beach.
Dieting reduces body fat, but it does not develop your physique - training does!
There's another problem: In the last 10 years, most trainers have
completely forgotten about the lost art of "cosmetic bodysculpting"
where you can literally use barbells and dumbbells like chisels to
carve out an aesthetically pleasing body.
The latest trend has been toward using weights to just burn calories
or to gain strength and go for "function." Nothing at all wrong with that...
it's all about what your goals are and what order of priority your
goals are in..
BUT...You cannot develop a fitness model or figure athlete look
with most of the workouts that are all the rage today.
There is a certain type of training that is necessary for maximum
visual appeal.
Add a little bit of deltoid, and you create an illusion of a smaller
waist... no lipo needed! Carve out your rectus abdominis and
develop width in your lats, and you take on the attractive v-taper look...
no visits to the plastic surgeon and NO drugs or pills!
This is what body sculptors have been doing for decades, but
now this training style is finally getting more mainstream. There's a been a
huge surge of interest and participation in THE NEW PHYSIQUE SPORTS
like figure, fitness model, bikini, and physique competition.
That's because these bodies are muscular and ultra lean, but NOT the
huge hulks like you see on the Mr. Olympia stage .. they're like the bodies
you see on the fitness models on covers of magazines like Oxygen or
Men's Fitness.
The fitness model look is probably the most desired "look"of all.
Bodies like those are developed with a certain type of training -
PHYSIQUE ATHLETE training - and you can learn more about this
type of workout system at:

This is Scott and Angie Tousignant's new physique training website
where he explains more about how these workouts work.
When you see their recent transformation photos, you can can see
they walk the talk.
During the past year there has been a big resurgence of interest in
body sculpting, with a more artistic angle - literally training with
the eye of a sculptor, to create a body with amazing aesthetics.
That's what this new workout system is about and I highly recommend it.
