Power Building Q and A

Published: Sun, 12/02/12

Hey,

I went ahead and got the answers from Mike on a few of the most common questions
below about the Bench Mode Program.

- Brian

=========

Q:  How long is the Bench Mode Program?

A:  With deload weeks included running through the program completely
would take 16-weeks.

Q:  How many days per week do you train with the Bench Mode program?

A:   It varies from Cycle to cycle.  Let me break it down for you.

Cycle 1:  Train Two Days Per Week for 3-Weeks.
One workout is for the bench press plus assistance exercises.
The second workout is for the squat and it's assistance exercises.

Cycle 2:  You'll Train 3X's Per Week for 4-Weeks
Monday, Wednesday, Friday is a good set up and you'll alternate
between the Bench/Plus Assistance Workout and the Squat/Plus Assistance
Workout with new percentages.

Cycle 3:  You'll do Partial Training Twice a Week for 3-Weeks
This is awesome for building up tendon strength, bone density and
getting your confidence really high.

Cycle 4:  Volume Workouts 5X's a week for 2-Weeks
This is very similar to a bodybuilding approach where you don't
have to rest as much and get to train more often.

Q:  When do I get to max out?

A:  You can max out before starting the program and after the 16-weeks
or you can attempt a max at the end of cycle 2.

Q:  How do I max out?

A:  I'll send you an email explaining how to do it tomorrow so keep
an eye out for that.

Q:  Will this program be offered in hard copy format?

A:  No.  I'm trying to keep the cost down on this one. The main training
manual is only 36-pages so it's easy to print out and you can read this in
one sitting.  You don't have to digest War & Peace to get started on this
program.

Isn't that part of the point of having an expert design a program for you,
so you don't have to spend your valuable time doing it?

Q:  What do the printable training logs look like?

A:  Here's a screen shot of one workout.  I made them black and white
so they are cheaper to print.  It's from Cycle 2 - Week 7.

Q:  Why is it called, Bench Mode if it's for your entire body?

A:  Good question.  Well it's a bench press specialization program.  It's designed
to help you increase your bench.  In order to do that though you need to work your
other muscles too. Especially big compound lifts like the squat that release lots of
muscle building hormones like test and GH.

Plus your assistance exercises will give you the nice looking body and will help
or assist you in bench pressing more weight as well.

Q:  Is there a lot of deadlifting?

A:  Not really.  Only in Cycle 4.  This program is more for someone that wants
to look good and have the strength match.  It's not designed for a competitive
powerlifter that competes in the bench, squat and deadlift.  However if you do
compete in the bench press this will work great for you.

Q:  Why haven't I heard of Dave Hampton?

A:  I hadn't heard of him either until my good friend and muscle writer Dennis B. Weis
told me about his program and the results guys had been getting from his barbell
club.  Dave doesn't hang out on facebook and I'm not even sure if he has a cell
phone...lol.  I've mostly been communicating with him via my friend Dennis.

Q:  How can I get a hold of Mr. Hampton?

A:  Dave is a private person and requested we keep his location un-disclosed
at this time.  He enjoys the brotherhood at his gym and doesn't want to
see it get invaded by people passing by.  Not sure if I agree with his decision,
but I respect his decision.

Q:  What if it doesn't work for me?

A: There is a 100% money back guarantee in place.  If you work, this will
work. I'd bet the farm on it even though I don't bet  But if I did, I"d bet the
farm.

Q:  How fast will the program work?

A:  Bench pressing 515 lbs is a lifetime goal.  How much progress you make
depends a lot on where you are coming from.  If you have never trained with
a power-bodybuilding approach you'll get really fast gains.  If you're veteran
it could take you until the end of the cycle to hit some new personal records.

Dave used to be a marthon runner and within a few years he was repping
with 405 lbs on the bench press.  Anything is possible, but we are all different.

This is a time-tested method of training for muscle bulk and size though.

Q: What's better pump training for looks or heavy lifting for strength?

A:  They are both good. Combine them in one program when you try
Bench Mode.  You can be big or you can be strong or you can be big and strong!

Q:   Is there any arm training in this program?

A:  Yup and there's a bonus called, Progressive Rep Training that Dave used
to compete in Strict Curl Competitions as well.
