Being involved in the fitness industry for a long time I
see few people achieve the results they desire in the gym
and even out of the gym.
You see, the people I talk to everyday are entering contests.
There are many categories like bodybuilding, fitness modeling,
bikini and figure.
Many people know the basics of eating frequent meals, eating
protein, and going to the gym and splitting up body parts.

them. When I started I did a lot of things (in a way you could
say "wrong" but I was still doing something) and it took me

It was weird hiring a bodybuilder guy to give me a workout

Well, honestly I can't say the first guy I hired was all that great
at helping me either. He took me through a 3 days on and one day
off routine of two body parts a day and gave me a meal plan that
was healthy foods but really had a ton of stuff that didn't work well
for my body and I didn't actually see many changes if any at all.
It wasn't until a year after that when I was eating one of the meals
I was told to eat (pasta and chicken) that a gym member who really
didn't speak to many people looked at me and thought I was crazy
and he said "No, that's not going to work". This guy trained me for my
first contest and I was ripped - but did I lose a lot of weight. I took 2nd
place out of 8 adults in my class (I had just turned 21).
After seeing what adjustments in my meal planning and food types
could do for my physique in a short period of time I looked more
and more into nutrition.
I went through periods of doing cardio on an empty stomach
upon waking up and also doing cardio at a high intensity. I knew
that food was the most important factor in my training and results.
I started doing nutrition for tons of people entering shows and
using a computer software to print meal plans out. Everyone
of the people I helped were getting results and competing.
Eventually things felt a little weird to me as I was training most
of the contestants entering my events as I was handed over the
local state championships event as the promoter.
I took a step back as trainer and nutritionist and just referred
out all of the athletes that came to me. As I didn't want people
saying the events were catering to clients (even though I wasn't
charging people who entered my show) and made the commitment.
Many of my clients had become trainers so I sent people to them.
But, I wasn't always happy with the information they were given out
or the fees they were charging. Or even how they used clients as marketing
tools to get more clients. Some even became cult-like.
I knew if I wrote a system people could follow it would allow me
to teach my information while not holding people's hands like a
personal trainer or coach.
