At the World Championships I gave a seminar.
Usually, I'm a "behind-the-scenes" type of guy so this was different for me.
But, I feel very passionate about helping fitness athletes.
I'm sure (whether you agree with me or not) you will find information
you can use from what I have to say in this seminar.

Important Topics of My Seminar:
1. Write 500-1,000 word articles, because photos don't get you traffic on google the way keywords do so article writing is very important.
2. When working with photographers buy and own your images and read the release forms. Just because someone takes a picture of you does not mean you own it.
3. Start a website, blog, Facebook fan page, and youtube channel.
4. Muscle magazine exposure is good marketing but you won't get paid for that.
5. Create a product or service (or train and coach people), write a book, make up a special workout, do something that makes you stand out and make a profit.
6. Supplement companies don't pay much for athlete endorsements but doesn't mean don't shoot for the endorsement contract anyway but working booths isn't really a career.
7. Guest posing and appearances isn't like it used to be - unless you can sell tickets and draw a crowd what is your true value? Who really draws money?
8. The game has changed (re-think your game plan) - even big companies are going to social media.
9. Competing is good but there can only be one winner - if you have a plan you can't lose as you can market yourself and create fans, customers, and popularity (which should be the end goal for everyone).
10. As a team it's better than trying this alone! Team Up!
