It's coming up soon. The 13th Annual Fitness Atlantic Championships. 

And there are many new and improved upgrades this year. 

The starters the venue is outstanding and seats nearly 5,000 people (but we sectioned off only 1,000 seats in the front middle section) and the front lobby called "the dome" is 22,000 square feet and will host the interactive workouts. 

The stage is 60' feet wide (last year's was 30') and the backdrop for the finals is a projector image of the sponsor logos and moving head lights and haze just like a real concert. This is a major concert venue and the place is massive along with the backstage area which has two floors so the men will be downstairs and the women upstairs in huge dressing rooms. This event is produced as a "show" a major production from the time the curtain opens until it closes it is something the audience will always remember as a great experience. 

Our goal is to make a big impression as this is the 13th Annual Fitness Atlantic but now the first "Official" WBFF show in the USA. We have a fantastic backstage crew to help you along with many current top WBFF Pros attending. 

Overall Winners of the Open Divisions in Bikini, Male and Female Fitness Model, Figure and Bodybuilding will turn "WBFF Pro". Five Pro Cards will be given out. 

We have photographers everywhere. Some are flying in from Weds to Sun and doing photo shoots. We will also be doing video interviews backstage. If you want to get published schedule a photo shoot with some of the photographers as the photo shoot images are usually the ones to get published in magazines. 

1. If you filled out the online registration form but didn't make the payment you will have to do that again and pay to be registered into the show - http://www.fitnessatlantic.com/store/events/registration
2. The host hotel "discount" ends March 16th 
3. The event deadline is April 8th or a $50 late fee kicks in 
4. No one will be allowed to enter the day of the event 
5. Some photographers will start shooting at the host hotel as early as Weds April 13th 
6. The closest gym is Fitness 4000 in Wallingford, CT and they have a $10 day fee if you want to go workout 
7. The spray tanning starts Friday at 9:00am - make your appointments now 
8. Check in will be 3:00pm to 7:00pm Friday April 15th 
9. Bodybuilders need to bring music on CD to registration 
10. Bodybuilders will be weighed-in between 3:00pm and 7:00pm 
11. Bodybuilders are drug tested by nurses using urinalysis testing
12. Bring extra towels and a sheet to the hotel so you don't ruin any linens with your tanning product and get charged for them 
13. Don't worry about bringing your own mirror the backstage is huge and has them everywhere 
14. Bring a exercise band if you are in bodybuilding or figure as we won't bring many weights 
15. First 150 competitors entered will receive a goodie swag bag 
16. Trainers are not allowed backstage - no exceptions 
17. Prejudging starts at 10:00am 
18. Finals start at 6:00pm and end by 10:30pm 
19. There are three ticket prices now ($30 for prejudging, $40 for finals, and $50 for an all day pass)  
20. Finals tickets are reserved seating 
21. Tony Horton creator of P90X workout starts at 10:00am in the Dome (workout, seminar, autographs, photos) after there will be a Zumba Party at 2:00pm to 3:00pm - the live workout is drawing 500-1000 additional attendees to the event - we want Tony to make a stop backstage and visit with the competitors for photos 
22. About 20 sponsor exhibits will be in the Dome please visit them and show your support - we are also raffling off a Life Fitness 9500 Treadmill - each competitor will get their name added to the raffle - additional tickets are $10 (only 350 tickets will be sold to spectators so chances of winning are very good)  
23. Bikini Diva is two rounds Swimsuit and Gown (Long Gown) 
24. Diva Fitness Model is two rounds Swimsuit and Themed Sportswear 
25. All women are invited into the opening performance which has a very special surprise guest performer - no special outfits required for the girls - it will be swimsuits and heels (Bikini, Fitness Model, and Figure).
