Hi,
As we get closer to the new year approaching have you thought about what you would like to achieve?
Especially when it comes to your fitness and appearance.
As I wrote the word, "appearance" I was thinking to myself - should I write that?
Is that appropriate to ask?
Well, put
it this way... recently I interviewed 50 potential employees for a new health club opening in December and as they come in to meet us we notice how they dressed for the interview. Some dressed business casual, some wore suits, and some simply wore sweats or jeans.
First impressions mean a lot and then after that you start asking work related and personality based questions. You give them all a chance to see who wins you
over.
A few just simply look the part - and if the personality matches you found yourself the perfect hire.
Yet when it comes to really fit people sometimes others make negative comments of them looking in the mirror too much and being overly concerned with looks. Especially if you post a few selfie's a day on Instagram and Facebook... hey what are you gonna do if that's your thing. Let the haters
hate.
What is important is:
Does your outside match your inside?
When you look in the mirror do you reflect the person you feel on the inside?
If you don't feel your outside matches how great you are inside - it is important to focus some time on it. People can see real results and real fast when they have a goal planned
out.
Way too many people just want to one day get in shape. They just don't plan a target date to do it by.
My goal is to get as many people I know in the best shape of their lives by April 11th 2015.
That's the goal - April 11th. Are you with me?
We will hang out at one of the very best destinations in the world Mohegan Sun Resort Casino and shoot with the very best fitness photographers in the industry. Yeah photographers that actually publish people on magazine
covers.
Then on Sunday April 12th we will work out with one of the biggest names in fitness.
So many people just live by excuses. If you can be in better shape do something about it - without a goal it's nearly impossible.
How many people do you see just walking on treadmills at the gym but getting nowhere? They do the same thing over and over and if nothing changes nothing
changes.
Sometimes it's just better to put yourself out there and make a big goal.
I want to see you standing on stage at your very best.
Talk Soon,
Brian
