Thinking VS Doing

Published: Sat, 10/21/17

Hey

Good Morning!

Ever have weird dreams?

I had a strange dream that woke me up at 5am which is odd because that never happens.

I was getting prepared to give a presentation to a large group of people. The talk was supposed
to happen at 10am in the morning and for every wrong reason it wasn't until 3pm and then it just didn't happen and I failed and felt like a loser.

First there is the nervousness and the sweaty hands about just walking in front of 1,000 people.

Next it's thinking about the technology like a clicker and a PowerPoint presentation not working.

It's not actually about giving a speech it but mainly about thinking about it and starting that is the hardest part.

Stage fright is a real thing or fear of like "looking stupid".

Why I thought of this last night I have no idea because I don't have anything planned like that.

You may feel a similar way if you are thinking about entering a show like Fitness Atlantic?

Sometimes thinking about really looking the best on stage can be a motivator to work hard but other times it can make you so afraid that you don't bother trying.

Ever watch documentaries on celebrities? I think those are great.

The most talented people sometimes had the most insecurities to overcome or they just simply still have insecurities which make them great.

174 Days to Fitness Atlantic and imagine how many nights you may think if you are going to make it to the stage or have too many crazy dreams about things going wrong.

Over-thinking something can stop you from some really good stuff if you allow it.

That Nike slogan of "Just Do It!" has to be the best slogan a company could have made.
What ever made them think of that with a sneaker ad?

A lot of people just DO STUFF but how much hard and difficult is the "IT" they do?

We are not talking about doing laundry. "Just Do Lots of Things" sounds pretty dumb.

Do "IT" the stuff that scares you and makes you nervous and drives any insecurities you have crazy.

Talk Soon,

Brian

Before I forget check out the new Fitness Atlantic website!
