Hi,
Are you already a personal trainer or a fitness coach?
Is that something you have thought about becoming? You can...
If you haven't noticed a lot of people who get popular on Instagram start promoting diet plans or
short term transformation diet and workout plans.
I've seen many offered for a range of amounts around $99 and I have no idea how well they are so I don't mean this email in any negative way. People are just doing it all the time.
I think there is no wow factor to how they are doing it.
It really needs a big finale. (Photo Shoot + Big Stage)
If it works for these fitness models sending out plans I think it is a great.
Training people to compete in shows is really a niche thing and much more complicated and takes on many different areas you
need to be an expert in not just diet and workouts but also posing, walking, suits, and which divisions to enter.
The other part about training people for a "competition" is the client may really want to win a Pro Card and things don't always work out that way. There could be some disappointments and it is so
much work in dealing with hurt feelings.
Here is where I'm getting at...
We know there so more people that could and maybe even should
(for health reasons) transform themselves to be more fit. If you are or going to be a trainer or coach and you want clients there is likely many more people who are potential transformation clients than the next Pro Fitness Model? Wouldn't you agree?
Three years ago we started a
Transformation Division for WBFF Fitness Atlantic at Mohegan Sun. I know that division could blow up and as a trainer and coach that has so much potential for you.
I always tell Fitness Pros that hosting workshops leading up to a show are a
great thing to offer but maybe it's too complicated? They take a venue to hold them.
There is less to no posing practice with the Transformation Division and all of the participants are treated like stars. You run a 12-week online coaching program and have all of your clients enter the
event.
If you have entered a show in any division you know it was one of the hardest things to do in your life. The training and diet is so tough and walking out on stage knowing you are judged against the other contestants isn't easy for anyone.
In Transformation each participant is judged against their own progress.
I wrote this report on Contest Workshops a while back. I think it is very good but not everyone can be a contest prep coach because again you need a place to hold these workshops. Not only do you rent a studio but only local people show up.
Transformation
Division really opens the door for people who are motivated to change their bodies through nutrition and exercise. It's NOT about the most drastic change and it isn't focused on any winners or losers. Each participant is treated like a winner for what they have accomplished.
If you wanted to create an online
coaching program from Jan to April you would finally get to meet-in-person your online clients for incredible after photos at the show in Mohegan Sun.
Personally I would use Paypal for sign-ups and a once-a-week scheduled conference call using freeconferencecall.com and start a "private" Facebook
group and do weekly check-ins also allowing the group to support each other as a team. They submit "before" photos and send weekly photos each and you can update their meal plans and workouts.
You would need some graphics to promote for November/December for sign ups to
get all your participants for your Transformation Team.

PS, As I write this I'm thinking to myself... Hmm, I wonder how people will take this email? It is sort of self promotion to ask anyone to become online trainers for the Transformation Division of my event. I'm thinking will it look like I'm asking just anyone to be an online trainer?
I guess sort of... I don't see a downside to it because they do it now. I think it is a great opportunity for anyone that though being an Online Prep Coach is something they would like to one day become.
I'll add this disclaimer: Personally, I believe trainers and coaches should have a good background of experience, become certified and hold a personal trainer insurance policy. The qualifications are really up to the individual and for the clients to ask before signing up. I would always recommend this but many don't have that.
