Sometimes people keep the fact they are entering secret and enter last minute and show up.

I would hope for most people you have your family and friends show up and watch you
on stage and be be happy you simply made it up there.
My entire family came to my first show I entered. On top of that I worked in a gym and talked all
of the members to come.
For me, it was more about impressing my family and seeing what I could do when I worked
really hard towards a goal.
