If you can't make it today stay motivated and keep pushing forward.
Ever think of what demotivates people from a fitness event?
How it is so easy for people to become uninspired...
I'm always competing against a secret form of NEGATIVITY -
yup, disguised friendship and support.
People try to talk you out of entering and after tell you why you shouldn't do it again.
Supportive people will try and make you feel good about yourself and protect you and
they may always say things I call "Positive Negativity":
- You should have won
- You don't need to compete in a show
- It's unhealthy
- When can you eat normal?
- You are too lean
Remember there is no easy way to do anything big.
People don't understand a fitness lifestyle.
Sometimes accomplishments take years yet that is what makes it worth it.
Winning shows and earning Pro Cards can take years but that is the fun part of this.
Don't get discouraged.
When people progressively get better year after year they do this for themselves.
True winners know the best results take patience.
There are way too many reasons to quit doing anything we don't need to be reminded of them.
