Hey,
I just saw a video on Facebook and a guy has a video
and in this video he is on a talk show and he is telling a girl who called herself
a procrastinator that it wasn't true.
He told her:
"You are not a procrastinator, it's just not a priority to you."
He goes on to tell her that if he said she had to be up the next day at 5am in the morning and
he was going to give her 3 million dollars that she would make sure she was there for that money.
He said it is about how important you make your priorities.
I thought it was very motivational and then I read it's comments.
The comments is where you see how people react and oh boy half the people said he was WRONG.
Gotta laugh the time people will put in to argue with a motivational speaker.
"You are wrong! I disagree! It may be important but you are tired or scared so procrastination does exist and there is such a thing... etc"
I highly doubt any successful people would be commenting to argue a point of a motivational speaker who is basically helping people realize they should not label themselves as a procrastinator.
What do you say back to someone who says being a procrastinator is real and has nothing to do with making something an important priority?
Sometimes people even enter and then back out of the show - and most times they justify excuses.
Most times though it doesn't get that far because they just never enter in the first place.
Making Fitness Atlantic awesome is on the TOP of my priority list. I also sign a contract for the venue and put out all of the promotional material so I can't walk away... I advise you to make the commitment real by entering and booking the hotel. Lock yourself in so you can't walk away.
I was in Hoboken NJ Sunday for a workshop and the talking with the group about entering and the Director of HR told them about how they are inspirations to so many people. The CEO then spoke about the power of making a decision and speaking with a 100% commitment.
If you say things like, "I might enter." or "I'm thinking about entering." the likelihood of you not doing it is basically 100% until you finally say, "I AM doing the show April 18th."
Don't justify your procrastination and label yourself as something you are not.
I just booked rooms at the hotel so I know it's not cheap so you need the discount and it ends in March so reserve the room today by going through our code on this page http://fitnessatlantic.com/hotel/
Taking immediate action is a powerful key to success.
Talk Soon,
Brian
