Tomorrow I'm attending a show at Mohegan Sun.
Not everyone will understand... you may laugh... 😆
You might have to experience it to understand.
One of my favorite bands to see live.
I wouldn't say they are the most talented musicians and they never claimed to be.
Tickets were not cheap.
$175 a ticket face value.
The lead singer usually says at their show, "You get your monies worth."
Four years ago I even spent $1200 to go see them V.I.P and meet the band.
That was steep and I had my doubts but it was really a great day to never forget.
It all started when I was in 3rd grade I started listening to music and my cousin Mike introduced me to this band and we had some of the records.
My mother and aunt took us to the concert.
My first concert ever.
It was 1979 Dynasty Tour and we saw KISS with all original members.
I was about to say "at their peak" but I have to tell you just as many people attend their events now and Gene and Paul are in their sixties.
You talk about a stage show!
It's hard to find any other band that does it better.
Why am I tell you this?
Running the Fitness Atlantic I always want people to feel the same way
I felt experiencing a show like that.
I want the audience to say "Wow, those lights were incredible!"
I want the contestants to feel participating was a day to remember the rest of their lives.
Being able to bring the passion for fitness, music, lights and overall entertainment
together is really the goal.
It's not just a CONTEST.
