Let me tell you about my parents and casinos. My Mom and Dad loves casinos and they play slot machines and eat at the buffet. They are not fancy people and the reason I'm referencing them is because even though they have been to Mohegan at bunch of times they can't give you directions to the Uncas Ballroom. First off they don't go to far... and they always on a weekday and it's not that packed.
The casino will be busy on a Saturday night with a Justin Timberlake concert going on in the Arena. It is packed every Saturday night.
The best garage to park is the Riverview Garage. This garage provides direct access to the Summer Entrance and connected to the Casino of the Sky. Guests entering through the Casino of the Sky should park in the Riverview Garage or take advantage of the complimentary valet service at the Sky porte-cochere.
My parents love the valet. They pull right up and give the guy $2 tip and when they leave they give the ticket to the valet and they go and get their Ford Explorer and give the guy another $2 tip. They think it is the best thing in the world. When I go with them they always ask me why don't I go to the valet? Because now I know the best spot to part but it wasn't always that way. I used to park way on the other side of the casino and walk what felt like a
mile.
Mohegan Sun built a new Convention Center which opened this year. Please remind people we are in the Uncas Ballroom and if tickets are will-call at the box office that is at the Arena Box Office.
Do yourself a favor for people coming to see the show. Tell them to arrive early at least by 5:00 p.m. and go to the Riverview Garage Valet Service. Give them your keys and let them part your car. Walk in the doors and stay to the right and follow that around a little circle to the Uncas Ballroom.
If they need tickets at the Box Office they have to go to the left and walk down to the Arena to the same Box Office as the Justin Timberlake concert. Just imagine my parents going to the Box Office standing in line with all those people picking up will-call Justin Timberlake tickets. I'd avoid that and make sure they had tickets in advance.
Make it easy on people attending so they have a better experience.

The glass sculpture and the waterfall is the most-popular featured area of the casino. If you are staying at the hotel and want a special treat the 10-2 brunch at Tuscany is incredible. Donna and I made a tradition to go there every year and last year Rodney Jang and David Ford came by with us.
