Hi,
I started thinking about the show getting close.
Seeing the countdown as 44 Days away seems very close.
Makes me think...
Am I all set?
Do I do all the right work ahead of schedule?
Am I missing anything?
Then it dawned on me that it is 6 Weeks Out this Saturday. That makes a difference.
I've known a ton of people who only prep for a show starting from 6 weeks to a show.
It is still more than halfway of prep. Looking at it differently puts things into perspective.
The following are links of things you should set up to be set so you have no worries.
Many people hold off on entering if they are not fully sure they will be ready and prepared to get on stage but by doing that you may also be holding yourself back from being 100% so go here first and enter.
There is nothing better than going to Mohegan Sun and getting on stage and having a group of your closest friends and family to support you so now is a great time to get seats together.
First year we went to Mohegan for the show I had to commit to selling 200 room nights and this was something that made be so nervous booking this venue yet we sold out the room block a month before and the hotel sold out completely so people had to go stay at other places. The rooms are outstanding and to go up and down an elevator is way better than finding you car and driving a few miles to a cheap hotel.
When you arrive at Mohegan Sun you go and get spray tanned first. The earlier on Friday you do this the better... We also push the tanning because you want all of the contestants to have the similar tone on stage instead of a few super dark out-of-place people.
Saturday morning get up early and go downstairs to the special Hair and Make Up Room. Tiffany has all of the designers working and organized so you are not rushed.
This opportunity does not come often...
The only other time you get the Status Fitness Magazine Team is at Worlds.
Stage images are priced very low and the photo shoot is more of an investment in yourself and they only book a limited amount of shoots. If you are a career minded person and think fitness is the route you are going to take images are the best thing you can have and adding to your resume that you shot with a fitness magazine really adds to your credentials.
