Hey,
Entering a show and explaining it to friends and family could be tough...
People will either support you or doubt you.
It's just the way it is.
Imagine talking to friends and family and saying,
You: "I'm entering a show in April."
Friend: "What kind of show a bodybuilding show?"
You: "A fitness show."
Friend: "You have to do a routine?"
You: "No, it's Fitness Atlantic WBFF Diva Fitness Model, Bikini Diva and Figure,
Muscle Model and Fitness Model and Transformation."
Friend: "Okay..." as they try to figure out what all that means... as most have no idea.
You: "You wanna go?"
Friend: "I don't know."
You: "It's at Mohegan Sun Casino."
Friend: "Oh, maybe I'll go to the casino!"
Usually as you get close to the show people see how hard you worked your friends will want to go support you. They will see you change your body and see the differences in your face. People will start to compliment you on how good you look and the results they watched happen.
Changes you make happen with proper nutrition and exercise are incredible but these changes do not come as quickly as we most times like - or notice ourselves.
Imagine the best case you drop 1 to 2 pounds a week that is a whole lot if you do it right and only lose fat pounds. Done correctly this is a slow process and progressive over time. Looking in the mirror too often you will not see changes but people who only see you once a week might notice it more than you do.
You have to work really hard daily on eating correctly and usually eating more often. Most of the time you are preparing food more than the time spent in the actual gym.
Our Fitness Atlantic rates are half of what they charge on any weekend
so making a reservation now is really good because it will sell out.
Before you go telling everyone, "I'm competing." Go ahead and make the Mohegan Sun hotel reservation so nobody has a chance to say, "You don't really look like a bodybuilder?" or ask why you are doing it. In a few weeks they will start asking you why are you eating so clean and why do you look so good?
