Thanksgiving is over so now it's time to work off the holiday food before the next holiday hits.
So many people are not really working and last minute shopping this whole week. Black Friday is really turning into a big deal.
In the back of your mind you still have to think when to kick "Show Prep" into full gear.
Have you announced to friends you are entering yet? Most times they automatically think it's a bodybuilding show and it did start off as one years ago but over time it has changed into more a fitness modeling show. The production of the show has been getting better and better each year at Mohegan.
For first-timers doing the show explaining it could be tough.
Imagine talking to friends and family and saying,
You: "I'm entering a show in April."
Friend: "What kind of show?"
You: "A fitness show."
Friend: "You have to do a routine or workout?"
You: "No, the WBFF. Diva Fitness Model, Bikini Diva and Figure and men have Muscle Model and Fitness Model. Oh and Transformation."
Friend: "Okay..." as they try to figure out what all that means...
You: "You wanna go?"
Friend: "I don't know."
You: "It's at Mohegan Sun Casino."
Friend: "Oh, I'll go to the casino!" (The casino people love that place)
So buying tickets for family as gifts is kinda weird but you could do it. Usually as you get close to the show and they see how hard you worked your friends will want to go support you. Most shows don't sell many tickets until last minute so if you get them now you will be able to buy the first few rows. The seats will be incredible.
