Good Morning,

If you recently attending the 2017 Fitness Atlantic at Mohegan Sun I really appreciate
you either entering as a participant or attendee.

Each year we try to make improvements to the event.

Personally I can say that I feel the moving lights came off really well.

Finally people talk about the lights! woo hoo!!!

Each year I rent all of these effect lights and haze and for the amount of lights
available they never really seemed to be as amazing as I knew they could be...

Each year I learn more about stage set design and production. The big difference this
year was the 3D pre-programming which was done months and months before the event.

As we build out the stage and rig the lighting the day before the event normally we would
try to make adjustments and program to the different looks that we had to work with and
parts of the show.

Creating a 3D design based on Opening Number, Individual Posing, Group Posing,
Theme Wear, and Gown makes a world of a difference. Now we can build on that file.

One person emailed in and said we create a great culture with the staff and others said we
had an amazing group of contestants this year. That is true in both cases as we really are
lucky to have an amazing staff and the contestant attitude really was incredible too.

Everyone seemed just really happy to be there and a part of the event and that is hard to
accomplish when in reality it is a contest. Everyone is really turning this more and more
into a "show".

The results should be posted this week and we will send the link for them.

One thing I want to promise myself never to do again in my emails is write or say
bad about other shows. I guess I was trying to make my show seem like a better choice
because of the effort I put into production yet I was frustrated at either lack on entries
knowing to myself what my show really should look like and it just wasn't there yet on the
production level.

I understand the stress it takes for contestants to go through prep and as the organizer
Donna and I go through a different sorta stress trying to make things happen.

Recruiting people to enter is always one of the hardest parts. That takes amazing
trainers and coaches that run camps, workshops and one-on-one coaching. The
planning for 2018 and the 20th Anniversary is to have a create a tie to health club chains
and gym franchises to use the 12-10 week challenges and bring more people into
our fitness world.

It's hard for a majority of people to really understand why YOU and I do this show stuff.

If you were there Status Fitness Magazine had a super busy Friday shooting then
the show day and even packed on Sunday. People should be getting some amazing
photos to share and looking forward to more people being published in the Magazine.

Please stay up to date with the postings on photos and videos on Facebook:

Our wheels are turning for making the next one better.

Working on obtaining a 2018 event date for next April.

Talk Soon,
