Keep it POSITIVE

Hey,

Now that the Fitness Atlantic is over for this year people are still posting images from the show.

The photographs really came out amazing!

Now many people write things like with their photos that include the following...

"I'm so glad I decided to compete."

"The competition was great."

"All the competitors were outstanding."

That's the words and terminology we use with these types of events.

I mean what else do we call physique sports or pageants?

We call them CONTESTS.

Stage photos are great and you know me I love a good show with lot's of lights.

Thing is I have to admit some of my favorite photos are studio shots done backstage.

Imagine this...

Someone asks you, "How did you do in your contest?"

Pull out your iPhone or Samsung if you are a Droid person and BAM.

Show them a studio shot.
"HOLY SMACK! DAMN!"

That's it.

They have nothing else to say...

Then they may ask better questions like:

"How did you get like that?"

"What was your diet like?"

The conversation changes.

Now they start asking about HOW DID YOU DO IT?

You know talk about food and working out and progressive changes over time.

Many people like small talk but few will actually go through the process of
working with a trainer and following a meal plan and workout routine.

Forget talking about placing 3rd and they were not there to watch... they
try to turn the whole event into a negative experience.

Shut them down with one photo.

Studio shots have so many uses but that is one of my favorite ways to use it.

Look what I did... even a stage shot when it's just you by yourself standing.

Coming soon we will be sending out a show report featuring many of the images
from the show.

Status Fitness Magazine team David, Ali and Rodney really do a great job. They
usually release a magazine feature before next year's event at the show.

Talk Soon,
