Hey,
Yesterday was awesome!
Before I tell you about yesterday I just saw a video on Facebook and a guy has a video
and in this video he is on a talk show and he is telling a girl, "You are not a procrastinator,
it's just not a priority to you."
He goes on to tell her that if he said she had to be up the next day at 5 in the morning and
he was going to give her 3 million dollars that she would make sure she was there for that money.
He said it is about how important you make your priorities.
That video pumped me up and I thought it was very motivational and then I read it's comments.
The comments is where you see how people react and oh boy half the people said he was
wrong.
Gotta laugh the time people will put in to argue with a motivational speaker.
"You are wrong! I disagree! It may be important but you are tired or scared so procrastination does
exist and there is such a thing... etc"
I highly doubt any successful people would be commenting to argue a point of a motivational speaker.
What do you say back to someone who says being a procrastinator is real and has nothing to do with making something an important priority? Do you just ignore them? To try and argue it back
why?
I wonder if the guy in the video reads the comments and how does that make him feel?
In sort of a similar way this happens to me. People fill out the show registration, next add me on Facebook, maybe they order a show banner, the hashtag the show and maybe I share their posts and then they never enter the show.
Sometimes people even enter and then back out of the show.
Most times though it doesn't get that far because they just never enter in the first place. Does it bother me sure because I'm human and I run one show a year and give it everything I can to make it awesome. My goal is to give you the best experience you can have with any fitness show!
Making Fitness Atlantic awesome is on the TOP of my priority list.
I'm not just thinking about the show script, the stage, the music and the lighting but I'm working on it and having many production meetings.
Yes I'm also running and stopping by Contestant
Workshops as well. I will be in Hoboken NJ tomorrow and then on Orange CT Sunday. I hope to see YOU this weekend!
There is two things I need to do to have a successful show. Number one is needs to run spot on and have an audience! Second it needs a lot of contestants. Many times that works in reverse as the contestants bring the audience.
Back to yesterday I went for my 3rd production meeting at Mohegan Sun. I hired a lighting designer to Pre Program all of the lights in advance. He has the show script and all of the songs in order and he programmed the lights to match the songs. The biggest light show parts will be the Opening Number, Theme Wear and Parade of Gowns. Those songs and parts will be completely choreographed with the contestants and the music without any announcements of names since they are
called at other parts of the show. These are 3 BIG parts of the finals really put on for the audience.
