Tickets to the Show

Hey,

Yesterday was a great Ticket Sale day! Big Day!

I'm not sure what happened to make people think about buying tickets to Fitness Atlantic yesterday?

You can get tickets with these links:

We compared the numbers of tickets sold to the number this time last year and it matches the same now. I was stressing out over nothing...

(Donna and I actually keep a giant white board with one board with last years numbers and another board with this years numbers. I look at it everyday... sometimes it stresses me out.)

Tracking numbers from one year to the next are skills I learned from fitness like when I was weighed in, getting a body fat test, or tracking my meals.

This is why writing things down is important for you as well.

When you think of goals you write them down and each year you try to reach your target.

Sometimes everything just falls into place and other years you have struggles that get in the way.

I used to do the same when I was competing in shows. I kept a food journal for each day. Each week my meal plans were exactly the same yet I still wrote each day down. Some people would think why write it down when you eat the same foods? Well, because sometimes times would get messed up here and there since I ate every 3 hours once and a while the times were pushed off or I missed a meal. It was also a great tool to stay on track.

Each week I adjusted my meal plans and year to year I was able to eat more food since I was leaner or more muscular starting off.

I never used to track the workouts though... I've tried different things especially with cardio in the morning on an empty stomach or later in the day with more intensity and shorter time. I've found my challenge was the meal prep and consistency of eating on time. Once I stayed on track with my meals I saw better results especially when I was able to keep my calories high and not screw up with something and feel I needed to do catch up.

If there were times I was on meal prep going through a birthday party or something and I ate something not on my plan I always felt like I needed to do extra cardio if I felt like I was playing catch up it made me nervous and that played with my head. That isn't a good feeling... the feeling on NOT BEING READY for anything makes you more nervous whatever you are doing.

Sometimes not feeling ready is just a got feeling like giving a talk on a stage in front of people and it has nothing to do with not being ready but just nerves. It's hard to know the difference of really not being prepared compared to just nerves from over-thinking something.

Most of the time I found things usually work out if you stay calm and stick to the plan as best you can.

Yesterday I went to a Posing Workshop in Rhode Island then off to Mohegan Sun to see a concert with the music from Game of Thrones. The plan was to go with a few guys who got me into the TV show and my buddy told me about this concert. Of course when it comes to stage, lights, and production I always want to check it out. Then my friend who really wanted to go in the first place plans a trip to Cuba after I get the tickets so he backs out of the concert. Then I scramble to find a couple other people to go.

The music was perfect but my friend looks at me and says, "Looks like they have kinks to work out in the production.". There were a few parts the video didn't work correctly and they stopped between songs to talk and made it feel choppy. Even a big scale production with a big budget needs more practice.

Stick with the plan and practice.

Obstacles will absolutely get in the way and try your best to work around them without stressing out.

If you think about it when we stress out and get nervous it doesn't help much does it?
