Hi,
When it comes to a goal as big as the Fitness Atlantic stage, the biggest mistake you can make isn't a bad posing routine—it’s focusing on the wrong things too early.
Too many people get caught up wondering who else is entering or if they have what it takes to "win." Honestly? Thinking about the trophy before you’ve even started your prep is the fastest way to mess with your head.
Before you think about
winning, you need to think about action.
🏆 You’ve Already Won (If You Do This)
The most important thing is figuring out how long it’s going to take you to get into the best shape of your life—and then doing something about it.
I always say that if you have the drive to get off the couch and commit to this, you’ve already won. While most people are sitting at home watching TV, you’re in the gym building something
special. But a goal without action is just a dream. To make it a reality, you need accountability.
🗓️ Weekly Focus & Workshops
You can't just "wing it" and hope for the best on show day. You need a weekly rhythm and constant adjustments.
The Workshops: If you’re local, I highly recommend attending our workshops. They are the best way to keep your head in the game:
When: Sundays, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Cost: $40.00 at the door (Cash or Check)
If you live too far away to join us in person, use those Sunday time slots as your own personal "Check-In" with a local trainer or coach. Mark those dates on your calendar now.
🚩 Don't Play "Catch Up"
The biggest reason people back out of shows is that they started too late. They realize
three weeks out that they aren't where they need to be, and the stress becomes too much.
My advice?
Get the goal in your head now. 2. Start on time. 3. Be progressive. Make small changes every single week. Don't be the person who tries to cram three months of prep into six weeks. You want to walk onto that stage knowing you brought your absolute best, not wondering "what if"
because you procrastinated.
Take the first step today. Start. Everything else will follow.
