As we plan to kick off the new season for the 2024 Fitness Atlantic we are happy to say that our local coaches have contacted us to be
sure everything was all set.
We started Fitness Atlantic back in 1999 and previous to that I had been handed over the A.A.U. Milford County and the Mr and Ms Connecticut show. These shows were grass roots and you needed to be a Connecticut resident to enter the Mr/Ms Connecticut.
After moving on from the A.A.U. events I affiliated myself with an event that created televised fitness events for ESPN. The Fitness Atlantic was a regional event that focused on women doing fitness routines that were 2 minutes long on stage and men's natural bodybuilding. We did that for ten years.
One year we ran independently as a totally non-affiliated show. Unfortunately it wasn't an easy thing to do running and event without being part of a "federation" as people call them.
Due to our experience we take all of the great ideas from the past affiliations and try to give the best overall experience to
the athletes.
We have held strong on our judging standards with scoring all rounds and criteria. Please see the attached Report we do after each event. In these reports we post the results of all of the contestants.
