I'm going to try and have some fun with things people say about fitness shows.
#1. People don't give a straight answer on if they are going to attend.
"My friend asked me if they can buy tickets at the door?"
If you ask someone if they are going to the show and they reply,
"Are tickets available at the door?" what I hear is...
"I like you but I'm not going." LOL
I hear that because it is not a straight forward "YES".
The answer is Finals at 6pm can possibly sellout but the 10am show
has like a thousand seats left. So, yes more tickets for the 10am are
available at the Arena Box Office. It is still easier to buy them on your phone and show your online ticket.
Here is another big one.
#2. People have doubts on entering and they
quit
Someone asks, "When is the last day I can enter?"
I automatically hear, "I don't think I'm going to be ready and I'm not entering."
Most of the time it isn't a money thing but a doubt thing and they are not confident about doing the show and getting on stage. The last thing I want is to charge a late fee but sometimes that is the only thing that makes people take action.
Most people are a
little scared or really scared of walking on stage in a swimsuit.
Don't think for a second that everyone in the show doesn't have doubts. This is not easy.
It helps a lot if you get asked if you are doing the show and you say,
"YES".
If you ever say that you are not sure so many doubts come up.
When you doubt yourself most times you could end up quitting.
I'm Attending and I'm Entering - YES I'm in!
These both lead into Facebook messages yesterday...
Yesterday I was added as Admin to the Mohegan Sun
Event Pages for
Preliminaries and Finals Gala events on Facebook.
I went ahead and invited friends and after doing that I noticed "share in messenger"
so I used that to my friends
list. I added a note to please click "going" and "share as a post".
Just about everyone I asked did it.
It was really powerful we reached a lot of the right people.
I want to give a huge Thank You to everyone that did that.
We are still very much a local show to CT, RI, MA, NY and NJ.
The majority of people who
attend in the audience drive to the show.
Thank you and this grassroots push helps so much.
