Everyone loves to see a good comeback.
Think about how many good movies end with a great comeback.
All time greats like Rocky!
You have the likable guy who can't seem to catch a break and takes an incredible beat down then almost quits or does quit but then something happens and inspires them to get back going and they finally
win.
Sometimes this happens in real life at Fitness Atlantic too.
I am secretly a super fan of the people that return year-after-year regardless of their placing at the Fitness Atlantic show.
Sometimes these people place nearly dead last and they show up again the next year.
Never complaining...
Never crying about the past year...
NEVER GOING TO FIND A SMALLER SHOW TO ENTER!
For example Andrew Jones first showed up in 2011 and placed
9th,
then 2012 placed 4th,
2013 4th place,
and finally 2014 2nd Place out of 20 contestants.
Four years of doing the same BIG show and winning out of a class of 20.
I thought it was even a couple more years than that as is seems he has been at the show forever.
May seem longer
because the past two years he has been at the show to help.
I know if he didn't win a Pro Card he would still be on stage again.
Some people don't stop and they actually LOVE the process of the training and
dieting.
I guess this could be called "bittersweet" if that is the correct word?
You love to see him win a Pro Card but also miss him on the same stage.
It was great seeing him win!
