Can I ask you something?
Do you use a Workout/Nutrition journal now?
Should a trainer give a client a journal? I believe it helps so much.
Some people now use APPs like My Fitness Pal.
Start today and write down the foods and/or workouts you do leading up to a fitness event!
I find it interesting with all of the computer technology and things like Google Calendar there is something special about pen and pad.
Years ago when I entered shows I wrote down my FOOD amounts and times that I ate.
As I then turned to training people for shows I always had them bring a FOOD JOURNAL I gave to them on initial consultation. Then if they didn't write down the foods I basically knew they didn't follow the plan.
Then I'd have the client stand on the scale and weigh them in.
The goal was to use the same scale and shoot for the same exact scheduled time per week to meet.
Usually Sundays mornings was my Check-in Day.
Then I'd do a body fat test after looking at how well they followed the food plan.
