Hi,
As a new year approaches have you made any New Year Resolutions?
Of course, "Get In Shape" right?
So when are you starting prep?
Most people think they'll start on Jan 1st ...
Most gyms are still empty on the 1st because they are recovering from that big New Year's party.
So usually the 2nd and 3rd day the
gyms everywhere start getting packed.
Then how long until it is back-to-normal?
Not too long... maybe what March? Then it's over....
What have people used to inspire themselves?
Maybe a photo of a goal body, maybe fitting into some clothes that are too small
or maybe a life event like wedding or vacation?
What is there was something bigger? Something better?
Years ago there was something
called Body-for-Life run by a supplement company and it at one time had over one million people enter in a year. The book is still available today and it is a great book.
Personally I was a huge fan of Body-for-Life because the finishers looked just like physique contestants. Many of the people who had completed the challenge became future contestants in my physique
shows.
See people need to start somewhere to stick to a 16, 12, or 10 week program. So many people just don't stick to the plan because the end goal they feel is maybe too high or not important enough. They may think they can't win a Pro Card in a Bikini or Fitness Model show so they stop and drop out of show prep.
People need a confidence builder first and experience builds confidence.
So we created something and this is now the 3rd year for the Transformation Challenge part of the show.
Everyone can find a "before" photo because most people have
worked really hard to get in-shape to look like they workout everyday.
This class of the show is for you if you have a personal challenge against yourself and not a contest between you and other people in the class.
This class is not
focused on the most extreme makeover or the saddest story as this is for anyone who wants to make a personal change. It is about creating a goal and getting in the best shape you can by April. Celebrate the challenge by doing the best you can by sticking to your goal and using this event so you don't quit on yourself. This is about committing to a fitness lifestyle.
In this
event you send in a "before" image which is shown on the back screen of the stage as you are announced to the audience. A few simple questions are asked when you enter: Date Started Transformation Process, Starting Weight, Trainer or Workout Program Used, Who is your role model?, What was your biggest challenge?
