Happy March,
In one month and nine days we will all be at Mohegan Sun.
Seems to come up so fast...
I thought about it today and started to get butterflies in my stomach.
Will I be ready? Where are the trophies, is
the staff ready, does the DJ have the music and scripts?
We will be ready - how about you?
I can't back out - I already paid.
That's why my advice is you people to enter a show first thing.
Then other things just GET
DONE.
Backing out is not an option.
I always see people drop off.
"I'll do the next one.", they say.
Guess what, they do the same process again...
They announce it by
telling people on Facebook, they see if they get likes, they tag a trainer and some people, then they start slacking off, or they have planned cheat meals they call
"re-feeds" one too many, they look in the mirror and feel bloated and have second thoughts.
Oh, screw it if I'm not going to win I'll wait - I'll do the next one.
It's mind games!
The last time I did a show I was ready four weeks out and someone messed with my head.
Told me I was "too ready" and wasn't going to be able to drop the water. Told me I should sodium load and deplete. So I tried it - used 5 grams of salt (a full salt shaker) on my food all day and drank pickle juice and soy sauce. I drank up to 8 gallons
of water on the final day and then I stopped drinking water and started loading potassium loading.
What a counter-productive mess I was.
I was a walking water balloon - I took off my socks and my ankles were so swollen and I didn't have a cut on my body. Finally my stomach started to bubble and the potassium must have kicked in and I was on the toilet for a day
with my tan on and I couldn't shower. Disgusting. It was like that scene from Dumb and Dumber - you know the part.
Talk about mistakes - that was a bad experience.
I have no idea how but I luckily placed fifth in that show and it was a big show too. One of the judges was the MC at a show I posed at four weeks earlier and he came up to me and said - "What the hell
happened to you? You looked so much better a month ago."
It could happen to the best of us.
People mess with your head.
My advice - Think like Gandhi
“I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet.”
You don't want to miss this show. It's going to be better than last year! The first year at a new venue is always the hardest.
Send in your ENTRY and let's do this.

Diva Bikini, Diva Fitness Model, Male Fitness Model, Figure, Muscle Model or Transformation
Transformation is really cool. I think that one
