Hey,
In 2 days from now on Sunday Feb 21st will be Workshop #4.
Actually today is 50 Days Out!
But
don't be scared...
Saturday will be 7 weeks and that is over half of anyone's prep time.
I've known plenty of people to prepare for a show in 6 weeks - sometimes it is all it takes.
In
"old-school" days of mine (1991-1992) it was always 12 Weeks of super-strict hardcore dieting but back when I did shows there were only bodybuilding divisions for men and women and that was it. There were no other divisions like bikini and fitness model or even the new Transformation.
Times have changed and each year things progress more and more.
That is why it is so important to keep up on how to pose on stage.
#1 Confidence is key!
If you are not walking and posing in front of a group of people start doing that now.
#2 Be Classy!
Women should not cross their legs and bend forward in a back pose. Most of the judges are women and this isn't some creepy show. Honestly with other shows that do have women turn to the back and bend forward I haven't heard anyone say they like that. I never heard any guys say that they can't wait to see the girls turn around and bend over and
lean back all distorted.
Sorry it's strange. Be a class act.
#3 Smile!
A genuine smile. Look happy to be there. No crazy fake smiles and no air talking jaw moving stuff. This is for the men especially - smile guys.
Come to the workshop on Sunday - no appointments necessary but must arrive on time.
It's only $30 at the door for Two Hour Session.
11:00am - 1:00pm
We will be at:
A1 Fitness Studio
220 Indian River Rd
Orange, CT 06477
See you Sunday,
Brian
